Profile
My name is Cinzia Landi. I live in Rome, Italy (GMT+1). I have been translating from English into my native language, Italian, for 34 years. I specialize in software localization, IT, consumer electronics, marketing campaigns, tourism & travel, subtitle translation.
Professional experience
After three years as an employee in charge of documentation translation in two private firms (1984-1987), I started my career as a freelancer. At the beginning I worked in the Italian public facilities sector, translating technical and scientific documentation for Autostrade SpA (the public highway management company), SIP (the telephone company) etc., then in 1994 I started working on IT with the first Windows 95 and I am still going strong in that market segment. 20 years ago I started working in marketing localization.
