Profile
My name is Cinzia Landi. I live in Rome, Italy (GMT+1).
I have been translating from English into my native language, Italian, for 34 years. I specialize in software localization, IT, consumer electronics, marketing campaigns, tourism & travel.
Professional experience
After three years as an employee in charge of documentation translation in two private firms (1984-1987), I started my career as a freelancer. At the beginning I worked in the Italian public facilities sector, translating technical and scientific documentation, then in 1994 I started working on IT with Windows 95 and I am still going strong in that market segment, later to work in marketing localization.

I have been localizing millions of words: at the time of Windows 95 and the first Office release I was trained in this field, and I kept working in the area so far. Be it an app, a software product, an user manual or a technical documentation item, you can rest assured of the excellent quality you will receive.
If necessary, I will send you a list of questions in the course of the work, then I will QA the final document or software product before it is released.

Rates & payment
Marketing projects are priced based on the individual project.
Other activities (QA, testing, glossary creation, editing, proofreading etc.) are charged at EUR 35 per hour.
In general, prices are defined based on urgency, volume and type of text.
Translation output
2000 to 3000 words per day.
Proofreading output
8000 words per day.
Payment terms
The invoice issued upon completion of the project is to be paid after 15 days by wire transfer, Skrill or PayPal (link below).
